The AusSea cruiser liferaft is a liferaft like no other. Packed in a fabric valise about the size of a car battery and weighing in at 10kg. This compact size and weight makes this liferaft truly portable.

The liferaft is designed and constructed similar to most conventional liferafts. The major differences are that it has no survival equipment or canopy (tent) like cover. However, it does have water stabilizing pockets, a fabric floor, boarding ladder and a handline attached to the outside buoyancy chambers.
The liferaft is inflated by 2 small carbon dioxide gas cylinders. When fully inflated, excess gas is discharged automatically via the pressure relief valve.

With a retail price less than half the price of a conventional liferaft. The manufacturer recommends the liferaft is serviced every 2 years and with no equipment pack, the service fees are kept to the minimum.

An EPIRB can be packed inside the liferaft to ensure a speedy rescue.
